Terms & Conditions

On this page you can download some important documents concering your membership of D.S.B.V. “Shot”. The statutes of Shot are only available in Dutch. Please contact the board if you have any questions about any of these documents.

The terms and conditions for 2023-2024 for participating in training sessions or the competition can be found below.

Training

  1. Every participant to the outdoor trainings of Shot should have a valid sportscard issued by X or TU Delft. If asked for by any employee of X, the board of D.S.B.V. “Shot” or any other supervisor monitoring the validity of the sportscard, the participant should be able to show their sportscard.
  2. If any participant did not obtain a valid sportscard one week before the start of the first training, you automatically allow Shot to buy you a TU Delft sportscard valid for 3 months. You are subscribed for the training when you have fulfilled the payment for the sportscard.
  3. Shot cannot be held responsible for any weather conditions. It is therefore not possible to get a refund of subscription costs in case of bad weather.
  4. The trainee does not have to pay for the the training series in the following cases: 
    • The trainee cancels before receiving an email confirming their training dates and time. 
    • The trainee cancels after receiving an email with their training dates and time but finds a replacement of similar level that fits into the allocated training group. 
    • The trainee cancels after receiving an email with the training groups but has experienced unfortunate circumstances. This will be treated case by case. 
    • In all cases, the trainee has to cancel by sending an email to mananger@shotbeach.nl
  5. Every participant should, when using the facilities of X, comply to the house rules of X. The house rules can be found here.

Competition

  1. Shot reserves the right to withdraw a team from the beach competition if this team does not comply with the beach competition rules.
  2. Shot cannot be held responsible for any weather conditions. It is therefore not possible to get a refund of subscription costs in case of bad weather.
  3. Every participant should, when using the facilities of X, comply to the house rules of X. The house rules can be found here.
  4. When participating in the Delftse Beach Competitie, additional match rules are applicable. These rules can be found here.
  5. To participate in the Delft Beach Competition, you have to be at least 18 years old or play in the senior competition of the Nevobo.
  6. The Delft Beach Competition has limited number of spots for teams, and works with a ‘first come, first serve’ principle.

(Sports card: To play in the Delftse Beach Competitie, no sports card is required. If a participant would like to make use of the beach fields outside of the competition, a sports card must be bought at Unit Sport.)
