In every quarter of the academic year of the TU Delft, Shot organizes training series for beach volleyball. Each series consists of a maximum of 10 practices. In Q1 and Q4, they take place outside on the beach volleyball courts of X and it costs approximately €30,- to participate in one of the series. In Q2 and Q3, the trainings are given indoors in a beach volleyball sports hall in The Hague. The sports hall that is usually used is at Zuiderpark, but the trainings could also be at Lindobeach.
The training series in Q4 have proven to be the most popular, which we understand because the sun comes out again. As a result, every year more people sign up than the amount of spots that are available. To keep it fair for the people that want to play beach volleyball all year long, trainees that participated in the Q2 and/or the Q3 training series are guaranteed a spot in the Q4 training series. The rest of the spots are distributed first-come-first-serve.
